The Whitney Blake Company Is Now An Iso 9001-2000 Certified Company

Following the completion of a two day NQA ISO Certification Audit on March 19, 2003, in which Whitney Blake Company met all of the new ISO 9001-2000 level requirements, we were then recommended to be certified to the newly revised ISO Standards. Since this ISO revision encompassed major changes that required that our entire Quality Manual be completely rewritten and many of our procedures be revised, it meant that a major effort had to be made to qualify for this new certification level.

We were informed that 30 % of the companies in the US have either just started or have yet to begin a transition program to meet this goal. By our achieving certification at this time, we have an immediate advantage in the sales & market place for our wire, cable and retractile cord products.
